Joining Civil Air Patrol

We invite you to please be our guest for an evening at one of our weekly squadron meetings. One of our squadron members will give you a tour during our regular meeting activities, present you with informational pamphlets, accompany you for the evening and answer any questions you might have about CAP. Parents of potential cadets are also given a special presentation with specific information for parents. There is NO permanent commitment for joining Civil Air Patrol as a Cadet or Senior Member and there are several types of membership, all which carry various benefits.

Directions to our meeting location can be found on the bottom of our Contact page. Arrive at 6:30pm on any Wednesday evening for your welcoming and tour. Meetings last until 9:00pm and we invite you to remain for the full meeting.

Are you ready to join? If so, please download, fill out (type), print, sign and bring the application to one of our weekly meetings. Note: The application must be fully typed out and signed by the commander before being mailed out.

Application for prospective Cadet Member (12-18yo )
Application for prospective Senior Member (19 & up)

For Current CAP Members interested in Transfer

For those not in the Syracuse Area

For those interested in Civil Air Patrol, but who are not in the vicinity of Syracuse, you can learn more about joining at the Civil Air Patrol’s National Headquarters website. There you can also find a unit locator that will give you information about the units closet to you.
